S.A. Morrison

Clevelander | Church Planter | Storyteller

I live in Northeast Ohio where the trees are the greenest I’ve ever seen and the snow is a thick blanket for six months of the year. Along with my husband, I work in a church revitalization. My writing has largely been forged through the sufferings we’ve experienced in ministry here, and my affections are set upon the local church, both her growth and flourishing.

I write to make sense of what seems to senseless in this life. Ecclesiastes, Job, and Jeremiah are my close companions, showing me the path to holiness amid strife and struggle. I write as an invitation to you, to join me in troubling the waters, being baptized in them.

My hope is that you’ll find solace here, in the wondering and wandering that life causes. I hope that you’ll see rest in the words written here, that they’ll comfort you like a warm cup of coffee (if you’re into that) or a nice churro (because I’m into that). Finally, my prayer is that some of these words, even just a few, would change you like I know they’re changing me.
